A slow steady flow yoga that focuses on alignment and breathing with optional vinyasas. All levels welcome. Please come prepared with your own mat, towel, water and any props you may need.
A vinyasa class in a heated room to allow for deeper stretching and cleansing. With an emphasis on alignment and an expanding range of more advanced postures, this flowing class will move you in all directions and test your own perceived limits — mental and physical. Yin yoga is a delicious surrender into quiet, supported postures on bolsters and blankets. Given props, the student achieves poses without muscular strength, facilitating release and relaxation that will calm the nervous system. This class will journey deep into supported postures with a focus on postures that lengthen the muscles surrounding the hips, pelvis, and lower back. Pranayama techniques and meditation is also part of this practice. Yin Yoga helps relieve the effects of chronic stress and each restorative sequence is designed to move the spine in all directions. Enjoy nurturing hands-on assists that move you towards a peaceful replenishment of body and spirit. Restorative yoga is a wonderful compliment to any level of practice. All levels. Non-heated.
All level Yoga class for EVERYONE! In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. SLIGHTLY HEATED
26 & 2, commonly known as “Hot Yoga”, is a Hatha style yoga practice with a set sequence.
Consisting of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, this slow moving series has a concentrated focus on the breath and alignment where poses are repeated twice with longer holds, allowing the practitioner to build balance between strength and flexibility.
With a combination of standing and floor poses, this class provides a wide range to work the body inside and out.
This all levels class will take a detailed approach to breath work, postures and alignment.
The perfect way to finish out the weekend and get ready for the week ahead feeling aligned and centered. This class is an intermediate to advanced practice - Good for those looking for balance, alignment, functional strength and a deep stretch. Come to your mat for strength and peace. Heated, 80-85 degrees.
A great way to feel invigorated & energized for your day! A quick 45 min flow taught in a heated room between 80-85 degrees. Still getting the full Vinyasa experience you would get from a 60min, but allowing yourself to get moving on with your day. Class will be powerful, energetic, and playful with a strong emphasis on breath. Students will be challenged in a safe environment and allows beginners, intermediate and advanced students to be challenged in the same class. The heat will help warm the body’s muscles and help purify the soul from the inside out. The room is heated to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles.
Alignment Yoga is based on the work of B.K.S. Iyengar and focuses on aligning the bones. When the bones are aligned the wear and tear of gravity is much less. We all have habitual ways of moving. Pain is also a pattern that tells you the pattern of movement is not healthy. Alignment based yoga is all about creating more intelligent action in the muscles, tissue and skin. Join Dora or Dee Fey to take time to calm your inner self while enjoying the benefits of a soothing yin practice. As you allow yourself to cultivate a sweet surrender you will release into the deepest layers of your body (joints, connective tissues and ligaments).
Yin is a slower and more meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues. With the assistance of props (bolsters, blocks, blankets), we will hold supported passive postures for a few minutes each, using no muscular effort.
We will surprise you with sound healing and/or aromatherapy. ALL LEVELS
Find relaxation and balance with this class that will open you up, invigorate you, and restore you. This class begins with a series of deep yin postures to relax, unwind, and open up the energy pathways. Halfway through class, we move into a vinyasa sequence linking movement to breath, followed by a deeply relaxing savasana. Perfect for all levels. We keep the room slightly heated.
