Melinda Janofsky
BARRE & YOGA INSTRUCTOR
 
Melinda is an internationally certified Yoga Therapist with nearly a decade of experience guiding students through mindful movement and holistic wellness. With extensive training in yoga therapeutics, Ayurveda, and Barre, she blends strength, balance, and breathwork to create classes that nourish both body and mind.
 
Whether leading a dynamic Vinyasa flow, an energizing Barre session, or a restorative meditation, Melinda’s teaching emphasizes alignment, breath awareness, and personal transformation. Join her on the mat to build strength, find balance, and reconnect with your inner self.
Mallory Kern
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
 
Mallory’s yoga practice began in college when she needed an outlet for her frustrations and overwhelm. After completing her 200 hour teacher training, she is ecstatic to bring yoga and strength together in creative flows.
 
Throughout a vinyasa style practice, you can expect challenging poses with plenty of modifications. Mallory’s approach welcomes all yogi levels and embraces every practice as a new beginning. She can’t wait to see you on your mat!
Lynn Charlton
Lynn is an instructor with a love for gentle yoga and vinyasa flow practice. Her journey began many years ago as a form of exercise that evolved into a yearning to learn more about yoga as a philosophy and a lifestyle.
While traveling to India on a yoga retreat with her daughter, she was awakened to the fact that she wanted to teach. She wanted to share with others the wondrous things that she had learned over the years from some of her favorite instructors, including her daughter. Upon returning from India, she spent the following six months receiving her 200 hour YTT training.

She is passionate about integrating her love of music into her classes. Along with great music she will sprinkle in sanskrit, chakras, and yoga philosophy. Her classes are for everyone to explore their individual practice through strength, mindfulness and breathwork. She looks forward to exploring together.

Liz T Trevisan
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
 
Liz began practicing yoga back in college, but it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that she truly found yoga. She realized that all those poses and flows weren’t just benefiting her body, but that the yoga was bringing her a sense of peace. She wanted to learn more, so she completed her Baptiste style 200-hour training in 2024.
She loves a hot sweaty power Vinyasa flow but also finds Yin to be equally challenging and invigorating.
 
She completed Yin Yoga training in 2024 and is looking forward to my second training in May 2025.
Her goal as a new teacher is to provide a multilevel class that encourages students to have fun, appreciate how uniquely their body moves, giggle when we all confuse our right leg with our left, and maybe find some peace of their own.
 
Off her mat, She loves hiking with her husband and her new baby girl, playing tennis, and work as an Emergency Department Physician Assistant.
Tracy Johns

With 25 years of experience as a chiropractor and exercise physiologist, Dr. Tracy creates a safe practice for all levels of yoga. Her 10 years of personal yoga practice have made her passionate about sharing the philosophy of this ancient art in a way that can be applied to today’s world. Come replenish, exhale and rejuvenate…..because you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Julie Hayes
BOOTCAMP/PLATOON INSTRUCTOR
 
Julie Hayes has been bringing the energy to group fitness since 1990. After moving to the Philadelphia area in 2004, she continued motivating and moving at outdoor bootcamp classes.

A lifelong distance runner and former college athlete, Julie’s running journey is nothing short of epic. She ran her first marathon in 1999, took a 12-year breather (because life and kids and such!), then came back stronger than ever in 2019. Since her return, she’s laced up again for the Boston Marathon multiple times and even flew across the world to represent in the World Age Group Championship Marathon in Sydney, Australia in 2024.

And she’s not done yet! Julie is currently in training mode again—this time for the 2025 World Age Group Championships as part of the New York City Marathon. Her story proves that passion, persistence, and a good cross-training can take you anywhere at any age!

Lisa D Dreyer
Lisa Dreyer, RYT and AFAA certified group exercise instructor, has been passionate about movement her entire life. Her journey through fitness activities has included running, mountain biking, adventure races, windsurfing, skiing, squash, and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Lisa began practicing yoga 5 years ago to add a flexibility component to her workouts 

She invites you to come and experience the Yin and the Yang that she infuses in all of her workouts.

Ayisha Sereni
AERIAL YOGA & ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR

AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor, certified Level I Aerial Instructor, and Licensed Zumba® Instructor.

Ayisha is a lifelong fitness enthusiast who began teaching “Aerobics” in the 1990s. She took her first Aerial Yoga class at Purenergy Studio in 2017 and was instantly hooked;
a few months later, Ayisha became certified to teach Aerial!

In 2020, she took her first Zumba® class while on vacation in Miami and became certified to teach Zumba® in 2024. Ayisha frequently attends choreography workshops with Zumba® choreographers from around the world.

Fun Fact: since 2021, Ayisha has completed nearly 800 Pilates reformer classes and she is hoping to complete her 1000th class in the near future!

Penny absolutely loves that she gets to do what she does!

She is very drawn to people's hearts and truly believes when your soul is peaceful it shines through your face and beyond. Her clients come to her for various reasons and she take each person's needs and goals very seriously and respectfully.

She puts her clients into a safe place where they can relax and let go of anything they need to.

With over 20 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, she also has a dual license in manicuring, as well as micro-needling, and I'm certified to perform facial peels as well.

Julie C. Cady
HIIT, STRENGTH TRAINING, FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
 
Julie began her fitness journey in 2004 while earning her undergraduate degree at Penn State, where she completed a two-semester instructor training program and graduated in 2007 with a minor in Kinesiology and certifications in multiple group fitness formats. Over the past 20+ years, she has taught consistently at fitness facilities throughout the Philadelphia area, developing a reputation for dynamic, accessible classes rooted in functional fitness. Julie emphasizes sustainable movement patterns, spinal alignment, joint mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility—elements she weaves into every class. Her specialties include strength training, HIIT, cardio, small group athletic training, Pilates, yoga, and stretch-based formats. She holds certifications from AFAA, TRX, Les Mills (BodyCombat, Functional Strength, and Strength Development), and AAAI Pilates.

Fitness Philosophy:
Movement should feel good—physically and mentally. Julie believes in training smart and sustainably, so we’re building strength and resilience that lasts a lifetime.

Sofie Heyman
FITNESS INSTRUCTOR, PERSONAL TRAINER
 
An athlete growing up, Sofie didn’t truly find her passion in fitness until her oldest was born and she experienced all of the positive physical, mental and emotional benefits of exercise.

Sofie is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and AFAA Certified Group Trainer. In her spare time, Sofie loves spending time with her family, friends, and being outdoors.

One of Sofie’s favorite aspects of Purenergy is the sense of community. Her goal for every class and session is to leave you feeling supported, stronger, and more empowered!

Jennifer B Brango
PILATES INSTRUCTOR
 
A Certified Comprehensive Pilates Teacher, Core Energy Coach, and Fitness Coach, her passion lies in guiding individuals of all abilities to connect with their inner strength and unlock their full potential. Jennifer believes Pilates is for everybody, regardless of their starting point or experience, and her teaching style is all about creating a supportive and engaging environment where you feel
comfortable exploring new possibilities.

Her unique approach combines precise Pilates instruction with energetic mindset work, muscle
priming, and functional movement principles. She loves breaking down movements, helping you truly
understand why they work, and seeing those 'aha!' moments as you build core strength, improve your posture, and enhance your overall well-being.
 
This philosophy stems from her own
journey, which included founding Diamond Diva's Academy, an online program dedicated to empowering women through positive mindset and joyful movement. With a lifelong passion for fitness and movement, Jennifer brings both energy and expertise to every class she teaches. A former soccer player who has always made working out a part of her daily routine, she understands the value of discipline, teamwork, and pushing limits. Jennifer combines her love for strength training and cardio to create dynamic, results-driven workouts that challenge participants while keeping them motivated and engaged.

Outside the fitness studio, Jennifer is a dedicated high school business teacher, where she inspires her students to set goals, work hard, and develop skills that will serve them for life. Whether in the classroom or the gym, she believes in building confidence, fostering perseverance, and making hard work feel empowering—and even fun.

With over 20 years in the health and wellness industry and 10 years dedicated to fitness, Diana brings a wealth of experience and passion to her work. From leading high-energy dance classes and fit camps to running impactful transformation challenges, she has helped countless women unlock their potential.

After becoming a mom, Diana’s focus evolved to embrace a deeper mind-body connection. She now emphasizes slow, controlled movement and whole life success wellness approach, helping other women heal, reconnect with themselves, and thrive—inside and out.
