Brenda Elko

Brenda Elko is AFAA certified & has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry managing & instructing group fitness programs in Milwaukee, Connecticut, & locally from Great Valley & Paoli Health Clubs, The Edge in Frazer & Exton, Volant in Downingtown, & most recently Fairmount Athletic Club.

As a competitive swimmer in high school in Rio de Janeiro, Brenda has always loved athletics, but coincidentally began her passion for fitness classes at Suzanne Olson's studio in Washington, DC. Upon moving away from the DC area, she managed several group fitness programs in the Milwaukee area while obtaining a master's degree in Human Resources from Marquette University & a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.

Brenda holds certifications in: Pilates Full Equipment & Mat, Zumba programs, Bokwa Dance Fitness, PowerStrike Kickboxing, Atletica, Barre Fitness, Yogafit, Crossfit, Spin Star 3, Aerial Yoga, Core Align, Aerial Yoga, Body Pump & has developed many other programs throughout the years.

Her previous career of 15 years was with the Central Intelligence Agency where she worked for Ben Affleck's character in the movie Argo. She was undercover traveling to many parts of the world during most of her Agency career until her last assignment in Human Resources where she managed the diversity program.

Brenda has been married for 31 years & enjoys traveling & the outdoors with her husband. 

Laura C. Coogan

YOGA, MEDITATION & REIKI INSTRUCTOR

Laura is a Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, professional Tarot card reader, and Medium. What started out as a curiosity to try yoga has evolved into an ongoing unveiling of the gifts she's meant to share with others to assist them in their own life journey. Since 2021, she has dedicated herself full-time to helping others. Laura has taught hundreds of classes and led several wellness workshops and events in and around the Philly area. When she's not in service to others, you can find her outside in nature, curled up with a book, or exploring new ways to express herself.

Ashley Nicole Lesko

YOGA INSTRUCTOR 500RYT
 
Ashley Nicole started practicing yoga in 2010 while attending college in Boulder, Colorado. She immediately fell in love with the practice and she used it to help her through periods of stress, anxiety, and depression. She believes yoga and meditation are the keys for cultivating self-awareness and long lasting, healthy relationships. Ashley began teaching in 2014 upon completion of her 250-hour and 500-hour training programs. In 2018, she decided to dedicate her life to yoga, took a leap of faith, and left her corporate marketing job to travel, teach, and study yoga internationally, most notably in India. She loves to incorporate what she learned while traveling into her classes and looks forward to sharing her insights with you in her creative, challenging, yet mindful flows. Her intent for teaching is to share the joy and healing that yoga has brought her with others. She plans to continue studying yoga and is committed to a life-time of learning and self-development. As long as she is helping her students, they are helping her, as she believes, "In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn."

Ashley is a Level 2 IAYT certified Yoga Therapist and also has certifications in Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Nutrition, and Women’s Fitness.

Lynn Charlton

Lynn is an instructor with a love for gentle yoga and vinyasa flow practice. Her journey began many years ago as a form of exercise that evolved into a yearning to learn more about yoga as a philosophy and a lifestyle.
While traveling to India on a yoga retreat with her daughter, she was awakened to the fact that she wanted to teach. She wanted to share with others the wondrous things that she had learned over the years from some of her favorite instructors, including her daughter. Upon returning from India, she spent the following six months receiving her 200 hour YTT training.

She is passionate about integrating her love of music into her classes. Along with great music she will sprinkle in sanskrit, chakras, and yoga philosophy. Her classes are for everyone to explore their individual practice through strength, mindfulness and breathwork. She looks forward to exploring together.

Our Community classes are a mixed level practice taught by our yoga teacher trainees. This class is intended to offer accessible yoga for the community while providing our wonderful teachers-in-training with additional experience teaching in a group class setting.
