Jennifer B Borrowman

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Jennifer Borrowman is a Philadelphia area based Yoga Teacher with over twenty years of experience as a Physical Therapist. She completed her Yoga Teacher training in 2011 with the British School of Yoga, received her MA in Russian Studies from Saint Andrews University in Scotland, and her BSc in Physiotherapy from Manchester University in England.

As a Yoga Teacher, Jen's priority is for students to feel both inspired and safe as they practice yoga. Her gentle physical and verbal adjustments allow students to challenge themselves while preventing injury. The non-judgemental environment in her classes helps students to practice kindness towards their bodies. Jen teaches self-awareness, so students are empowered to discover where they need to build more strength or more flexibility. She encourages students to find patience, compassion, calm steadiness and trust in themselves, while creating space in the body and mind, and following the breath as a guide.

Josette Cicacci

Yoga Instructor, PTA, E-RYT200

Josette Cicacci’s formal training is in exercise physiology and physical therapy. Josette was introduced to the practice of yoga as a tool to cross-train for triathlons. Josette became hooked on the practice. She completed a 200-hour teacher training with The Living Mandala School of Yoga in February of 2013. Josette uses breath as the foundation for all of her classes. She has found the nervous system benefits of a breath-guided practice to be impactful to most any student. Calling on her physical therapy background, Josette prioritizes proper form and mindful pacing to maintain safety for any body. She also enjoys incorporating her specialization, myofascial release, with manual assists in her classes. When asked what type of class she likes most to teach, Josette responds by saying, “Feel your body yoga.” Josette hopes to meet you on your mat, and would be honored to support you in deepening your connection to your body

Ann Johnson

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

I discovered yoga in 2014 while living overseas with my family in Australia. After my first yoga class I was hooked and drawn to the physical, spiritual and mental benefits of the practice. Not long after taking part in weekly and sometimes daily yoga classes I decided that I wanted to share my knowledge of this beautiful practice with others. I received my RYT from the Australian Yoga Academy and am also certified in Yin. I have a background in Exercise Physiology and am also a Registered Nurse.

Each class I teach starts with intention setting and the class is built around that intention. Slow, mindful movements can be expected during this class along with alignment cues and awareness of breath to help guide you into a deeper state of connection. Modifications are offered in each class because every body is different. All levels are welcome and each student is encouraged to move at their own pace. My teaching style is nourishing and honest. So, you can expect a purposeful class that is lead from the heart.

Carina Wulff

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Carina grew up immersed in the world of dance and the creative arts. When she found herself on a whim in her first yoga class in 2001, the practice immediately struck a chord deep within her and she quickly grew to love the connection and ease she felt in her body and the sense of calm in her mind that yoga gave her.

Carina completed her Yoga Alliance RYT - 200 HR certification in Alignment Based Hatha Yoga at Three Queens Yoga, where she studied with Mariel Freeman and Alex Holmes. Carina went on to complete her Yoga Alliance RYT - 500 HR certification through Three Queens Yoga in August of 2018. Carina sees yoga as a daily practice done both on and off the mat and a powerful tool for self- inquiry, self-awareness and personal empowerment in the journey towards health and well-being of the whole person, mind, body and spirit.

Megan Mayer

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Megan discovered yoga in high school while working at a gym, and instantly fell in love. It wasn’t until
her mid-20’s that she really became a devoted yogi with a daily practice.  For Megan, yoga is all about the experience of getting to better know yourself and your anatomy. She loves finding a balance between strength and flexibility, both on and off the mat. Her classes focus on that equilibrium between exertion and release. You can expect to flow, sweat, and most importantly: breathe.
Come for her creative flows and curated playlists, stay for the deepened mind/body connection.
