Randi Coen Gilbert is a Registered Yoga Teacher since 2000, she has over 1200 hours of training, including in Yoga Therapy and certifies Yoga Teachers in Pre & Postnatal Specialties. She’s been a life long nature lover, world traveler, and hiker-experiencing her most spiritually charged and healing moments while practicing yoga outdoors. She became a Sierra Club Trip Leader to learn more about inspiring others to cherish the earth and now unites these experiences in her retreats.

Randi fulfilled a lifelong dream in 2019 on a spiritual journey to India where she could acknowledge the roots of her practice at the YogaLife Institute in Mumbai, yoga retreats in Goa, Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh, and classes in Mysore, along with visiting a multitude of holy sights. She feels truly blessed and grateful to be part of the yoga community

    Cancellation Policy
    You must notify us directly if you need to cancel from a trip. You have a grace period of 14 days from the date you registered to cancel, if you registered before August 15th. After August 15th, there are no refunds available. Purenergy regrets that it cannot make exceptions to these Terms for any reason, including personal emergencies. (There will be a 5% cancellation fee if cancellation falls in cancellation window.)

    Participant Non or Late Arrival or Early Departure
    If for any reason (whether voluntary or involuntary), a participant does not attend, arrives late or leaves the trip in progress (including but not limited to voluntary withdrawal, dismissal from the trip, illness, injury or any other reason), there will be no refund.

    Further, if a participant departs early, the participant is responsible for all costs of early departure whether the departure is for medical reasons, dismissal, personal emergencies or otherwise. These costs may include, but are not limited to: evacuation, medical treatment, meals and lodging costs, non-refundable airline tickets, change fees or other transportation costs. For example, if a participant becomes ill during a trip as a result of COVID-19, the leaders may need to isolate participant/s and require COVID-19 testing, and the trip could be cut short or cancelled, with participant/s incurring additional travel and medical expenses.
    Participants will encourage and practice health safety to limit exposure to any illness.

  • CANDLELIGHT HATHA YOGA
  • “To go out of your mind at least once a day is tremendously important, because by going out of your mind, you come to your senses.” - Alan Watts

    This class blends traditional techniques of Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga. We will flow in sync with breath (Vinyasa) to awaken the body and dissolve tension, as well as hold poses for 3-5 breaths (Hatha), allowing students the opportunity to experience a broader range of sensation within their movement and stillness.

    Core focus is on healthy alignment and breath/body awareness. Yoga philosophy will be woven throughout.

    The pace of the Vinyasa portion is moderate, with modifications offered for students to adjust to their desired pace.


  • GENTLE YOGA (MILD HEAT)
  • This a mild heated (76-78 degree) class uses slow, easy movement, with an emphasis on connecting the body, mind and spirit. The focus of this class is to strengthen the body with breath and ease.
    Beginning with a warm up, 1/2 sun saluations, standing poses, balancing poses. We then move to the floor to core and back work. Ending the classes with stretches and savasana.
     
    This class is appropriate for students of all levels and ages, including beginners, seniors, and those with injuries.  Modifications will be offered throughout class. The use of props will be demonstrated and provided.

  • LIVE DIGITAL: GENTLE YOGA
  • This class is appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. The approach hopefully includes carefully orchestrated movements, controlled pressure, and well-measured stretches, including range of motion exercises
     
    EQUIPMENT : Yoga Mat, Blocks or thick heavy books, Strap or belt or mans tie.
