This class is taught by:

Kate H Heindel

SPINNING, PILATES, YOGA INSTRUCTOR

A competitive swimmer as a youth, making it to the junior Olympics, then training and showing horses was the start of an active lifestyle. Team tennis then became my passion for 15 years in both singles and doubles. I've been in the fitness industry for over 25 years, teaching spinning, Pilates mat, Pilates small apparatus, step, advanced double step, Hatha yoga, PIYO, Barre, and kickbox.
A graduate from Villanova University in communications lead to a career as an assistant producer of television commercials on a national level. I now work with my sister in the family business promoting the company as a woman owned and operated on the Federal and state level.

Olenia Czerwoniak

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

An avid Equestrian and lifelong athlete, Olenia discovered Pilates in her quest to become a better rider. After a riding accident, she discovered it was a way to build a stronger body and more resilient mindset.

Pilates is a total body workout that is centered around strengthening the core all while improving flexibility and mobility. Most importantly, it builds the mind-body connection that is critical to sports.

Olenia received her training in classical Pilates from Body Precision in Bryn Mawr and continues to explore her interest in functional movement, yoga and myofascial release.

She believes functional movement is crucial to developing proper form and lifelong health. Olenia upholds the mind-body connection as a core value and is passionate about guiding people to connect with their own bodies to improve their general wellness and sports performance.

Besides riding and taking care of her horses, she enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain biking and kickboxing.

Karen Fletcher

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Her Pilates journey began in 2016, where she focused on the fundamental principles and foundational skills through the mat work. This deliberate practice not only increased her flexibility and core strength but also alleviated her persistent back pain. She has come to appreciate the precision and mind-body connection that Pilates demands, and she is dedicated to sharing its transformative benefits with her students.

In 2023, she completed the 450-hour comprehensive training program at Drexel Pilates where she learned the classical biomechanics of Pilates. The Drexel Pilates program is under the direction of Jennifer Morley who was trained by Romana Kryzanowska. She continues to learn and grow in her Pilates practice with a weekly private session with Gina Nostrant and continuing education classes and workshops at Drexel Pilates.
