Michelle received her national NASM Personal Training Certification, worked at Equinox as a Trainer and has since spent over a decade as a Personal Trainer and is also a national AFAA Group Fitness Instructor. During that time she became a Master Barre Trainer at Physique57, taught ReXist360 HIIT at The Movement NYC and most recently was the Head Coach at Orangetheory Fitness.
In over a decade of coaching and teaching fitness and wellness she has continued her education specializing in teaching proper form to prevent injuries before they happen and help correct those that have already occurred. I adore helping others find their love of living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle!
Barre fanatic or Barre newbie - This workshop is for people of all levels.
Barre is a low impact workout that combines ballet inspired moves with elements of Pilates, yoga and strength training. There are many different styles of barre classes, but all use the same foundations to build from. In this 90 min workshop, we will be digging deeply into all foundational positions you find in a barre class. Learning how to get into each exercise safely and tips and cues on how to maximize each exercise to gain the most effective outcome for your muscles.
