Bob Adams

AERIAL YOGA LEVEL I & LEVEL II CERTIFIED

 

Bob first came to his yoga mat in 2007, to regain some of the flexibility that he had lost over the years. He learned that yoga is much more, with movement and breath providing many other benefits, including the ability to de-stress and find a deeper peace of mind. Bob took his first aerial yoga class in August 2012, and was immediately hooked. "Aerial yoga makes me feel like a kid again. It's a great workout, and it is so much fun that time flies by so fast and you barely know you are working out." Bob completed Level One and Level Two Aerial Yoga Teacher Training at Transcend Wellness and Yoga in 2013. He tries to make each class challenging and fun for his students, allowing them to grow their practice and build self-confidence, all while having a great time.

In the corporate world, Bob has worked for the same IT company for 39 years. He also enjoys cooking, is an avid runner, and a workout junkie. Bob has been married for 35 years, with 2 children and 3 granddaughters.

Julie Hayes

Julie Hayes has been bringing the energy to group fitness since 1990. After moving to the Philadelphia area in 2004, she continued motivating and moving at outdoor bootcamp classes.

A lifelong distance runner and former college athlete, Julie’s running journey is nothing short of epic. She ran her first marathon in 1999, took a 12-year breather (because life and kids and such!), then came back stronger than ever in 2019. Since her return, she’s laced up again for the Boston Marathon multiple times and even flew across the world to represent in the World Age Group Championship Marathon in Sydney, Australia in 2024.

And she’s not done yet! Julie is currently in training mode again—this time for the 2025 World Age Group Championships as part of the New York City Marathon. Her story proves that passion, persistence, and a good cross-training can take you anywhere at any age!

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to level up, Julie’s pop-up class is your chance to train with someone who’s walked (and run!) the walk. Come sweat, smile, and surprise yourself—you’ve got this!
