Darcy Feuerstein

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Darcy fell in love with yoga immediately after she began her practice. It not only taught her an incredible amount about herself and her body but it was and still continues to be an extremely helpful tool in helping her deal with stress and anxiety. After years of deepening her practice from a wide variety of yoga teachers and retreats, she decided it was time to get her yoga teacher training certification. She completed the program at Pure Energy Studio with Kate Goodyear and Allison Sobel. Her vinyasa classes will take you through a series of poses that will bring heat, power and lengthening to the body and mind. Having spent years working in the fast paced corporate America, Darcy also aims to help her students navigate through the day-to-day stresses that can often accompany work life. Aside from yoga, she also enjoys cycling with her husband, cooking plant based recipes and is a passionate voice for the animal community.

Josette Cicacci

Yoga Instructor, PTA, E-RYT200

Josette Cicacci’s formal training is in exercise physiology and physical therapy. Josette was introduced to the practice of yoga as a tool to cross-train for triathlons. Josette became hooked on the practice. She completed a 200-hour teacher training with The Living Mandala School of Yoga in February of 2013. Josette uses breath as the foundation for all of her classes. She has found the nervous system benefits of a breath-guided practice to be impactful to most any student. Calling on her physical therapy background, Josette prioritizes proper form and mindful pacing to maintain safety for any body. She also enjoys incorporating her specialization, myofascial release, with manual assists in her classes. When asked what type of class she likes most to teach, Josette responds by saying, “Feel your body yoga.” Josette hopes to meet you on your mat, and would be honored to support you in deepening your connection to your body
Join Kundalini teacher Linda Prichard for this intro to Kundalini Yoga.

Kundalini Yoga focuses on breath and the energy body in order to balance mind, body, and spirit. Using Mantra (sound), Pranayama (breath), Kriya (movement) and meditation, Kundalini Yoga balances the endocrine system and strengthens the nervous system so that we can experience our natural, optimal state of bliss.

There will be no pretzeling of the body, no required skill set, and no athleticism needed. Some things may challenge you but everyone can approach Kundalini Yoga in a way that works for them.

Come enjoy this workshop where you will learn:

What is Kundalini Yoga?
