Teaching fitness since 1988, Valerie is an international presenter at Fitness conferences, a 500hr RYT with the Yoga Alliance in addition to holding the prestigious PMA (Pilates method Alliance) certification as well as AFAA, ACE, Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Rehab, TRX, Aerial Yoga and Pilates for Golf certifications. She is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and a CPR/First Aid instructor for the American Red Cross. Valerie’s specialty is taking the esoteric tenets of The Feldenkrais Method to the fitness world, sharing practical tips for both the group fitness and personal training market. She was voted Best Posture Coach in Philly Magazine 2010 for her unique approach to blending optimal function based upon each individuals specific physiological abilities and or limitations.


Valerie instructs the following:
  • PILATES MAT -- ALL LEVELS
  • A total body Pilates workout with lots of variations to lengthen, strengthen and challenge all major muscle groups including the Core. All levels are welcome.

  • An Introduction To Pilates Equipment a 4 Week Series
  • Anytime you are using equipment in Pilates, it is a tool to help you find the right muscles while using proper breathwork. Our equipment classes will Increase flexibility, strength and stamina, while improving body alignment, coordination, and balance. The result of this workout on a regular basis is a uniformly developed body with stronger core and back muscles.
     
    This 4 week series will help you get familiar with Pilates equipment training so you can attend any of the group sessions. Before you take any of our Group Equipment classes you will need to take the Introduction to Pilates Equipment Series or purchase 3 Private Sessions.
