…and one day I awoke, mid twenties, just on the other side of a harsh breakup, stressful job and feeling low. I asked if I could tag along with a friend to her yoga class and my whole life changed. I found something to look forward to, feel good about, a sense of community, peace of mind and so much more! I jumped in with both feet and was soon taking teacher training with some of the greatest teachers around, the staff at Dhyana Yoga!
My mission is to help others feel the way that my teachers helped me feel. I strive to provide my students with a practice that challenges the body, soothes the mind and revitalizes the spirit, building connection. It is very important to me that students realize that this is more than just exercise but a spiritual practice.

Bob first came to his yoga mat in 2007, to regain some of the flexibility that he had lost over the years. He learned that yoga is much more, with movement and breath providing many other benefits, including the ability to de-stress and find a deeper peace of mind. Bob took his first aerial yoga class in August 2012, and was immediately hooked. "Aerial yoga makes me feel like a kid again. It's a great workout, and it is so much fun that time flies by so fast and you barely know you are working out." Bob completed Level One and Level Two Aerial Yoga Teacher Training at Transcend Wellness and Yoga in 2013. He tries to make each class challenging and fun for his students, allowing them to grow their practice and build self-confidence, all while having a great time.

In the corporate world, Bob has worked for the same IT company for 39 years. He also enjoys cooking, is an avid runner, and a workout junkie. Bob has been married for 35 years, with 2 children and 3 granddaughters.

Tori decided to try Aerial yoga on a whim in 2014 shortly after PurEnergy studios opened. By the end of her first class she was hooked and became a regular "frequent flyer" from then on. In the Summer of 2016 Tori decided that teaching was the next logical step to her Aerial Yogi path. During her training Tori realized that Aerial was much more then just a fun hobby; Teaching and helping others advance their practice evolved aerial into a passion.

Tori has been local to the area her entire life living in Malvern and attending Immaculata University. If she isn't "monkeying" around in her hammock you may run into her at one of the many mat classes. These injuries left her unable to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time without experiencing pain. Holly became hooked and sought ways to deepen her practice physically as well as spiritually.

After several years of practicing on her own she knew it was time to follow her new, found passion to the next level. In 2009 she began Classical Yoga Teacher Training and has never looked back. Yoga & Meditation Instructor
Jason’s meditation journey began in early 2016 when he needed to find a way to cope with the moment-to-moment stresses of life, and to slow down. Since attending his first class, Jason’s passion for meditation grew and inspired him to want to teach. Shortly thereafter, Jason completed the 25-hour Awaken to Stillness Meditation Teacher Training, which afforded him the opportunity to deepen his own practice and to gain the knowledge and tools to be able to share the gift of meditation with others. In Jason’s meditation class, students can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Jason explores the various meditation techniques while centering each class on different themes and intentions. Jason provides tips and tricks for building a consistent at-home meditation practice. Students can expect to spend time each class focusing on breathing, and learning techniques for calming the mind and body.

Jason is also certified to teach the practice of Vinyasa yoga. As an avid Yogi since 2011 and seeing the impact yoga has had in his life, he was inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Jason recently completed the Svadhyaya 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Students can expect to explore moving meditations that build strength, help to focus the mind and body, and to learn to find balance on and off the mat. Jason is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom his teachers have shared with him.
