We have a high-energy, interval training program which features performance technology!! Whether your goal is to get a great workout, clear your mind, be social or get competitive, Purenergy’s Zone Training facility will keep you engaged and motivated. Each one-hour class is broken up into a warm up, three 15-minute training segments and a cool down. The segments will change daily, keeping your workouts fresh and exciting EVERY SINGLE TIME! Our Zone Room is equipped with treadmills, Indo-Row®, bikes, boxing system, kettlebells and TRX®, Rip-Trainers® and more!
Each workout is based on scientific exercise progression and sound physiological principles. Within weeks, you’ll notice a difference in your strength, your energy, and your overall fitness level. Whether it be for fat loss, general conditioning, or elite level athletics, the added motivation of having others working out in the same room with you pushes you to a new effort level.
The Zoneboard includes your beats per minute, calories burned, max heart rate and intensity zones. Zone Training provides constant visual feedback, which motivates participants to push themselves or ease off accordingly to achieve personal goals. For those who would prefer to keep their scores to themselves – not to worry!
A key reason we guarantee satisfying results is our use of Heart Rate Monitored Training for Zone classes which means you’re pushed to train at an exertion level that’s safe and appropriate yet challenging for you. Applying this approach at Purenergy ensures that you train to your potential every time and will get the most from every minute you invest in your workout. Also called interval training, exercising within prescribed heart-rate zones helps you burn more calories not only during class, but for hours afterwards.
To maximize and track your performance, we strongly suggest wearing an ANT heart-rate monitor chest strap. (ANT straps are synched to our software tracking system; Polar and Nike straps are not.) ANT monitor straps can be purchased at Purenergy for $49. A limited number of loaner straps are available at our service desk at check-in.
We’ve all got goals – losing weight, getting faster, increasing power. But most workouts don’t tell us whether they are helping us hit those goals. The Zoneboard displays and measures every performance so you know exactly how you are doing. We won’t blind you with complicated data, just a few simple numbers which will encourage you to push harder. You will be amazed at the rapid improvement that you can make. Watch yourself get fitter, faster and stronger.
Every client is fitted with a ANT heart rate strap which lets you know how hard you are working and how much energy you have used. If you opt in, your numbers will appear on a screen in the front of your class, and you can compete against your mates or others in the class. This is guaranteed to make you work harder.
You are only identified by a number, and it’s strictly optional, so if you want to keep your work rate to yourself, that’s fine. When you register, just tick the box which says that you want to hide your details from the studio performance leaderboard. But give it a try. We think you will find that the Zoneboard is incredibly motivating! You can opt in at any time through your account.
Whether or not you opt in during class, the record of every workout is stored in your Purenergy account, so you can track your improvements and beat your goals.

You can sign up and reserve your bike or reserve a spot in our Zone Training class right from your mobile phone and check your performance history. Emails/text messages are sent after each class to let you know you results. But wait…hold on to your hats: we will ramp up the competition with all sorts of cool contests!
