You don't need to change your body to feel beautiful! You just have to heal the thoughts about your body that are keeping you stuck in a place of self defeatedness. In this two hour workshop, we will explore the Yamas and the Niyamas on the 8 limbed path of yoga, and how you can apply these concepts for living to change the way you relate to your body. If you have been struggling with negative body image, this is the workshop for you!
Learn how to apply yogic concepts to the daily care of your body. Learn to listen to your body and quiet your self critical mind. Receive inspiration to move through life with more confidence.
Please bring yoga mat, water bottle, and a journal.

Receive the tools needed to establish the groundwork for a sustainable home practice.
Sessions meet every Sunday from 5:30pm-6:15pm (Sept 18th, Sept 25th, Oct 2nd & Oct 9th)
This program introduces you to several major meditation techniques from the yogic and Buddhist traditions, including: ~ Meditation on the breath ~ Loving-kindness meditation ~ Walking meditation ~ Mantra Meditation
Participants will be introduced to those above meditation practice and the principles on which it is based. There will be periods of silent sitting and walking meditation as well as discussion, providing a foundation for applying mindfulness practice to everyday life.
