Julie Avans

SPINNING, YOGA, HIIT INSTRUCTOR

Julie was a year-round high-school athlete who turned to group exercise classes in college as a way to stay fit and maintain athleticism. She began teaching classes in 2005 at Penn State and has taught ever since. Expect an eclectic playlist with music to match the mood of each drill. Julie will not only push you, but she will give you tools to motivate yourself!

Lisa Dreyer

Lisa Dreyer, RYT and AFAA certified group exercise instructor, has been passionate about movement her entire life. Her journey through fitness activities has included running, mountain biking, adventure races, windsurfing, skiing, squash, and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Lisa began practicing yoga 5 years ago to add a flexibility component to her workouts She founded and currently runs Agile Motion Fitness, a small-group fitness training business specializing in HIIT and Yoga. Although that sounds like an unlikely combination, Lisa finds that the balance gained from both “practices” produces calm minds and strong, fit bodies for her clients.

The lessons that Yoga teaches about looking inward, noticing alignment and bringing awareness to your movements has changed her emphasis in her own workouts as well as in the classes that she teaches. Her yoga and daily meditation practices give her focus and calm strength and that she hopes to pass on to her yoga students. Her love of all things “interval” and her morning ritual of chin-ups and handstands give her the spark to motivate and push students in her interval, circuit and sculpt classes. She invites you to come and experience the Yin and the Yang that she infuses in all of her workouts.
Lisa lives in Malvern with her husband, 3 children and 2 spaniels.

Kerry Lundmark


Kerry Lundmark was a four time award-winning scholar athlete from Penn State University, as a gymnast. She graduated with distinction majoring in Nutrition with a minor in Exercise and Sports Science. Kerry received her Masters in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and taught Middle and Elementary school students for four years before starting a family. Kerry has a passion for wellness, and loves teaching! She comes to us as a certified, experienced instructor in Pilates, Yoga, Balanced Athlete, and Barre Intensity. Kerry and her husband, Steve reside in Downingtown with their four children.
Build strength, balance and agility from the ground up in this barefoot total body conditioning class.

• Warm up with range of motion exercises to increase mobility and kinesthetic awareness.
• Rev up your metabolism and chisel your muscles with low-impact cardio and weight-bearing strength intervals.
• Define your core and glutes with mat work that matters.
• Finish with stretching exercises to increase flexibility
Bring a mat and step out of your comfort zone (and your shoes!) to reap the rewards of Barefoot training.

Why "Barefoot"?

Did you know that your feet have a lot of nerve endings and visceral sensors that feed info directly into your spinal cord. Your muscles and spinal cord have some intelligence of their own! They sometimes circumvent the brain and just adjust your movement based on the info that your feet and ankles send regarding changes in the surface that you are walking on and more.
