Kate Goodyear

…and one day I awoke, mid twenties, just on the other side of a harsh breakup, stressful job and feeling low. I asked if I could tag along with a friend to her yoga class and my whole life changed. I found something to look forward to, feel good about, a sense of community, peace of mind and so much more! I jumped in with both feet and was soon taking teacher training with some of the greatest teachers around, the staff at Dhyana Yoga!
My mission is to help others feel the way that my teachers helped me feel. I strive to provide my students with a practice that challenges the body, soothes the mind and revitalizes the spirit, building connection. It is very important to me that students realize that this is more than just exercise but a spiritual practice.

Today her practice is more spiritual and has helped her find a better balance in her life.
As a mother of three, wearing many different hats in one given day, yoga and mediation allow her to stay grounded and present.

She loves to try all different types of yoga styles, exercise, spend time with her family and make her delicious V-Empanadas.

Eric Mamuzich

Eric Mamuzich has traveled the world sharing AcroYoga with as many people as possible. He enjoys the freedom of the play that is cultivated in a safe environment through guidance and structured training.

Kristy Mitchell

Kristy first discovered yoga in 2006. She’d always been active in outdoor sports, so going indoors to exercise was never on the radar. After struggling with back pain for awhile, she finally decided to take her friends up on their suggestions to try yoga. She entered the studio skeptically, but left completely addicted to the practice. It wasn’t long before she was practicing three to four times per week.
Soon, she began to feel fantastic physically, lost weight, and found a sense of calm that she had been lacking. That’s when she decided she wanted to share this wonderful practice with others and signed up for teacher training. In addition to holding a 200-hour certification, Kristy is trained to teach Yoga for Trauma and Addiction.

Kristy teaches vinyasa, power vinyasa, and Yoga for Recovery. She believes that every body is unique and there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to yoga.

Her classes are open and accessible to all levels, with modifications offered throughout.

Laura Coogan

"Laura's transformational journey began on her 26th birthday when she gave up smoking after 9 years. A few years later she found herself at yoga's doorstep after completing her first marathon in November 2012. It was a severe knee injury building up to the race that left her realizing her body needed balance.

The following story she describes is one in which if you love something enough, let it go, and if it comes back to you it's meant to be. Her relationship with yoga began just like that. She took a 9 month sabbatical from yoga in order to explore other fitness domains. Yoga aided in the recovery that made her not only strong enough to run again, but prepared to dive into the world of CrossFit. It was during this time of continued exploration that something deep inside spoke to her. She longed to practice yoga regularly again as she felt incomplete without it. Upon reentering Dana Hot Yoga, the studio she left just 9 months earlier, she immediately signed up for teacher training and went on to complete it in February 2015.

It's through teaching that she enjoys seeing others explore and surprise themselves via the physical and mental challenges yoga presents.

To this day she maintains a steady balance of running, CrossFit, and yoga as she wholeheartedly believes in the healing powers of movement."

Jen Saulino

Jennifer began her yoga journey in 2013 after promising a friend to come to a class She walked out on her and thought "never again"!

Until she returned the next day....

"Yoga was everything I needed and I fell in love! I fell in love with my strength, my life and above all, I fell in love with me. Yoga opened up something inside me that was always there, it just needed to be brought out. I'm and grateful and blessed everyday for this practice. Both on my mat,and what I get to share with the world"

Brittany has experienced so many incredible results from her yoga and meditation practice, from being able to run long distances injury-free, to relieving stress in a fast-paced engineering job and finding so much more connection between her mind and body and emotional health.
